1 Introduction & Overview
Welcome to Adnan Auto Quiz – Flow Prompt Automator (referred to herein as "the Extension", "we", "us", or "our"). The Extension is developed and provided by AdnanTools (https://adnantools.com/) to assist users in automating the submission of batch prompt workflows to Google Flow and automatically managing the download of generated output assets.
We believe in complete transparency and strict privacy engineering. This Privacy Policy outlines what information the Extension accesses, how that information is handled, the exact scope of browser permissions requested, and your privacy rights under the Google Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
2 Information the Extension Accesses & Processes
To fulfill its automation function, the Extension temporarily interacts with specific pieces of data during your active user session:
- User-Selected Input Files: DOCX or TXT documents chosen and loaded by you via file selection dialogues.
- Prompt Text Strings: The extracted text lines representing individual quiz questions, generation instructions, or prompts to be automated.
- Google Flow Page Elements: Specific input fields, submit buttons, canvas containers, and image elements inside the active Google Flow browser tab necessary to insert text and detect completion.
- Generated Image Output URLs: Blob URLs, object URLs, or image resource links rendered by Google Flow in response to your prompts for local disk saving.
- Local Extension Configuration: User preferences such as prompt delay intervals, batch execution limits, download folder naming preferences, and current queue indices.
The Extension does not access your email contacts, browsing bookmarks, passwords, credit card numbers, or communications on other websites.
3 User-Provided Prompts & DOCX / TXT Files
Users can import prompt collections from standard Microsoft Word documents (.docx) or plaintext files (.txt).
Once parsed into memory, the prompt queue is kept in active memory or stored in the browser's local sandbox storage (chrome.storage.local) solely to preserve queue progress across tab reloads.
4 Google Flow Integration & Third-Party Processing
The core purpose of Adnan Auto Quiz is to submit prompts on the user's behalf to Google Flow (Google's generative AI / prompt workspace).
When you initiate automation:
- The Extension programmatically populates the input field of the Google Flow web page running in your active browser tab.
- The Extension simulates the submission action (or triggers the corresponding interface action), sending your prompt string directly to Google Flow.
- The transmission occurs directly between your web browser and Google's servers over Google's secure HTTPS protocol, utilizing your existing Google authentication and cookies.
5 Generated Images & Local Downloads
After Google Flow generates an image or visual asset, the Extension detects the generated output within the webpage DOM and initiates a local download to your computer via the chrome.downloads API.
- Direct Disk Storage: Generated image files are written directly into your computer's designated downloads folder (or a subfolder named according to your settings).
- No Interception or Cloud Upload: Downloaded images are never sent to, mirrored by, or analyzed on AdnanTools servers. They remain your personal local files.
- No File System Scanning: The Extension only writes the specific images generated during your session; it never reads, indexes, or modifies other files stored on your hard drive.
6 Chrome Permissions & Narrow Purpose Justification
Under the Google Chrome Web Store Developer Policy, extensions must request only permissions strictly necessary to deliver user-facing functionality. Below is the detailed breakdown of all requested permissions and their narrow technical purpose:
| Permission | Narrow Technical Purpose | Data Storage & Privacy Impact |
|---|---|---|
| tabs | Allows the Extension to identify, switch to, or coordinate with the browser tab containing the active Google Flow webpage during automation routines. | Only inspects URLs matching Google Flow. Tab URLs are never logged, stored, or transmitted remotely. |
| activeTab | Grants temporary, user-invoked execution access to the currently focused Google Flow tab when you click the extension popup or start automation. | Operates only in response to explicit user initiation. No background monitoring of non-active tabs. |
| scripting | Enables injection of client-side automation scripts into Google Flow to insert prompt text, trigger submit actions, observe progress, and capture generated image elements. | Scripts execute locally inside the Google Flow DOM. No keylogging or harvesting of user credentials. |
| downloads | Permits the Extension to programmatically save generated image output files to your computer's local download directory upon completion. | Only initiates downloads for assets produced during the active automation flow. Cannot delete, modify, or view unrelated downloads. |
| debugger | Used selectively to dispatch synthetic keyboard/mouse interaction events or monitor network status on the Google Flow tab if required to automate complex canvas interfaces where basic DOM events are suppressed. | Restricted strictly to the automation target tab. Chrome displays an active debugging banner. No access to other tabs or system resources. |
| storage | Utilizes the browser's sandboxed chrome.storage.local to save user preferences (e.g. prompt delay intervals, batch sizes) and maintain prompt queue progress. |
Data remains 100% local on your device. Cleared automatically upon extension uninstallation or manual cache clear. |
7 Local Browser Storage
The Extension stores minimal operational state in chrome.storage.local within your browser's protected local profile directory. Specifically:
- Automation parameters (delay in seconds between prompts, retry attempts).
- Current batch index counter (to resume automation if a page reloads).
- User interface preferences (dark mode toggle, auto-download checkboxes).
This data is stored purely for client convenience and functionality. It is never synced to external cloud databases by AdnanTools.
8 Data Retention & Deletion
Because AdnanTools does not operate any central server or database for this Extension, we retain zero copies of your personal data, files, or prompt history on our infrastructure.
How to Delete Stored Data:
- Reset Within Extension: Click the "Clear Queue / Reset Settings" button within the extension popup interface.
- Uninstall the Extension: Right-click the extension icon in Chrome and select "Remove from Chrome". Chrome immediately purges all
chrome.storage.localstate, configuration files, and extension memory from your machine. - Downloaded Files: Image downloads saved to your disk can be deleted at any time using your standard operating system file explorer.
9 Data Transfers, Sharing & Third Parties
In strict compliance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy:
- No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade user data, prompts, or personal information under any circumstances.
- No Advertising Networks: The Extension does not contain third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or data broker integrations.
- No Lending or Credit Evaluation: Data is never used or transferred for lending, consumer credit, or profiling purposes.
- Third-Party Transmission Solely to Google Flow: Data transmission is confined exclusively to the direct communication initiated between your browser and Google Flow to execute your requested prompts.
10 Data Security Measures
We apply industry best practices to secure the Extension:
- Sandboxed Execution: The Extension runs inside the secure Chrome extension sandbox adhering to Manifest V3 specifications.
- Content Security Policy (CSP): Strict CSP rules prohibit the execution of remote arbitrary code or evaluation of unauthorized scripts.
- End-to-End Encryption in Transit: Any communication between your browser and Google Flow is encrypted using modern TLS (HTTPS), safeguarded by Google's security infrastructure.
11 Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)
The Extension is a productivity automation tool designed for general audiences, professionals, and students who have reached the legal age of consent. We do not knowingly collect, request, or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 where applicable by European law). If you believe a child has provided personal information through our services, please contact us immediately.
12 User Rights & Choices (GDPR & CCPA)
Under international data protection frameworks, including the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA, you possess rights regarding your data:
- Right to Access & Portability: All prompts and files processed by the Extension originate on your machine; you maintain complete access and ownership of these assets at all times.
- Right to Erasure: You can delete all locally held state at any moment by clearing extension storage or uninstalling the extension.
- Right to Stop Automation: You may pause, cancel, or terminate prompt execution at any time by clicking the "Stop" button in the Extension UI or closing the Google Flow tab.
